Gensler has designed the new headquarters of women’s footwear company Sam Edelman located in New York City.
Sam Edelman’s new Gensler-designed headquarters celebrates the brand and its products while thoughtfully supporting business operations. The office houses staff for all Sam Edelman lines, including Sam Edelman, Circus by Sam Edelman, and Sam & Libby. Casual and chic, the space begins with the concept of a living studio, showcasing the brand’s products, fostering innovation, and promoting individuality. Open seating and breakout tables encourage transparency, teamwork, and idea sharing. Client-facing areas, as well as internal operations, are integrated into a flexible, open plan that allows the company to easily adapt the space to meet its evolving needs.
