LineBox Studio has recently designed the new offices of ecommerce software company Shopify located in Montreal.
Shopify recently moved its new Montréal office to the Tour AIMIA near Square-Victoria. Designed by LineBox Studio, the 30,000 sq. ft. office will accommodate up to 200 Shopify employees. A noticeable design concept at Shopify Montreal is the light-to-dark aesthetic as you walk from the south end to other areas. Work pods line the outer corridors by the windows, while meeting rooms can be found in the office interior.
The office also features products from Montreal-based Shopify merchants, most noticeably the pillows spread out among common areas and adorning vintage arm chairs. Some of these merchants include, Main and Local and Velvet Moustache, while the unique prints on the walls were created by Shopify Montreal employees.
