Steven Leach Group have designed the new offices of computer technology company Lenovo in Tokyo, Japan.
As part of a regional agreement SL+A Tokyo designed the first upcoming opportunity of Lenovo in Tokyo. Lenovo, who recently purchased the PC division of a major Japanese electronics company consolidated its operation in a new building in Tokyo’s famous Akihabara district. The project consists of back office functions as well as a prominent client area with a showcase space.
The office has a very high density. To create diversity and variation multiple collaboration spaces are placed throughout the entire back office. The collaboration hot spots follow different design themes and therefore create a natural orientation system. All spaces are strongly branded with a variety of graphics displaying the innovative forward looking dynamism of the company.
