AEI Arquitectura e Interiores has developed the offices of software firm Globant located in Bogotá, Colombia.
Globant, a software development company based in Argentina, uses a system that involves the interaction between loosely coupled services that function independently, allowing interconnectivity amongst them. Each designed space and element in the office emerges from the Data Center (see image) and is linked physically through a visible infrastructure net that joins all the main areas of the project. The formal or informal meeting rooms, music room, BBQ area, football-tennis court, and seating areas or the red narrow tunnel forces interaction and reflect the company’s manifesto: acting ethically, being a team player, having fun, thinking big, innovation and aiming for excellence.
White and bright open office spaces with a colorful infrastructure net on the ceiling as well as some color accents in the main areas were what characterized this project. It also important to note the net represents technology and the colors used are part of the corporate branding pallet.
This project is a true reflection of meeting the client’s needs – delivering an innovative design that reflects the organizational DNA/culture and encourages workers’ motivation/happiness/productivity.
