When Cask and Barrel clients approached Hatch for their new liquor store interior design we jumped on the chance. While we have completed many retail projects in the past, a liquor store was new territory. One of the things we LOVE about what we do is the opportunity to work with such a variety of clientele… every project has it’s own set of parameters and requirements that need to be met to ensure ultimate functionality and brand
Cask and Barrel requested an interior with class; one that be suitable to display their wide range of liquid treats that includes wine, spirits and beer. Their product line varies from an huge selection of craft beer to select high end and rare bottles of scotch, and Hatch was able to provide them with a space to let each of them shine.
The layout of the space was of utmost importance to ensure they could fit as much merchandise on the floor as possible. Through our schematic design phase we landed on a space plan that provided a elegant tasting station upon entry, a mixture of angled and straight floor displays to create interest, and ample wall shelving and cooler space. Inspiration for the material selection was derived from the products themselves; deep reds, bright coppers, and rich caramel tones were paired with black marble and warm wood. The result? A well-branded interior that is enjoyed by employees and customers alike.
